PROUD Daryl Clark will captain Warrington for the first time tonight vowing to make sure a season that promised so much doesn't fizzle out.
The livewire England hooker leads the side out at Halliwell Jones Stadium against the champions. St Helens the team he joins in 2024.
It will be the final home game of his nine-year career there and one sixth-placed Wolves ideally need to win to keep their play-off hopes alive.
The ex-Man of Steel said: "Firstly, it's a nice touch to be able to lead the boys out in my last home game. It'll be a proud moment.
"It's the first time I've ever captained Warrington - or anyone and it would be memorable to get a win.
