BOSSES at 10 of the country's richest energy giants raked in a total of £50million last year.
The news comes as figures reveal 2.3million customers, battered by still punishingly high gas and electricity bills, have run up £3billion worth of debts.
The latest fatcat to net a fortune is John Pettigrew, boss of electricity network National Grid.
He got £6.3million in pay and perks last year, down from £7.2million. Since 2016 he has had £43.4million.
