BRITNEY Spears has claimed she got pregnant with Justin Timberlake only for the couple to opt for a termination.
The Baby One More Time singer has written that she had an abortion after conceiving in late 2000 when the pair were both 19.
Spears claims Timberlake “wasn’t happy” about the pregnancy, arguing they were too young.
The pop icon, 41, reveals in her upcoming memoir, The Woman in Me: “It was a surprise, but for me, it wasn’t a tragedy.
“I loved Justin so much. I always expected us to have a family together. This would just be much earlier than I’d anticipated.
“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young.”
