A BOY was killed by a bin lorry as he cycled to school yesterday.
The 11-year-old was struck as he rode his bike to Cramond Primary in Edinburgh.
It happened on the city's Whitehouse Road at about 8.20am.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, not far from the school. The driver of the bin lorry was uninjured.
A witness told the Record: "It happened during the school run.
"We saw the buses backed up first and then loads of police cars and ambulances.
