OIL giant BP was condemned yesterday for raking in "grotesque" profits of £511 a second.
The company made an eye-watering £4billion in just three months - adding to its £23.4billion haul last year.
BP is coining in so much that its latest profits, between January and March, were about £560millon more than analysts predicted.
Meanwhile, bumper profits are expected to be announced by rival Shell later this week.
