
KING Charles visited his neighbour Billy Connolly for secret dinners with top comedians, it has been revealed.
Monty Python star Eric Idle has opened up about his meetings with the then Prince Charles at Connolly's Scottish castle, Candacraig, which is next door to the royal Balmoral estate.
Idle said Charles was provided with some "good comedic therapy" at the raucous evenings, helping him escape the pressures of royal life.
