CRUELLA'S BINNNED.. DAVE IS RECYCLED

JUST last month, Rishi Sunak boasted he was the candidate for change and vowed to fix 30 years of broken politics.

But by yesterday, the desperate PM had turned to a figure from the past, making David Cameron the newest Tory Lord so he could be appointed as Foreign Secretary.

The shock move came in a Cabinet reshuffle sparked by the axing of Home Secretary Suella Braverman after her poisonous remarks on pro-Palestine peace marchers and the homeless.

Despite having 350 MPs to choose from for the role, Sunak was accused of scraping the barrel with the appointment of a former PM who was the architect of austerity and who plunged Britain into years of chaos with his Brexit referendum gamble, which he lost.

Cameron, who quit No10 in 2016 after Britain voted to leave the EU, was also later involved in a cash-for-access scandal and criticised over links to Shadow CAMPING China.

Bin Salman Health Secretary Wes Streeting said No10 had "exhausted all the viable names at the bottom of the barrel" with the appointment and added: "So they are starting all over again." And Cameron's STREET former chancellor George Osborne recalled how Sunak used last month's Tory conference to present himself as an agent of "change" who would steer the party away from the politics of old.

He said: "It's quite a handbrake turn from the conference speech.

"We analysed the decision by the Prime Minister to say he was the change candidate, that he was junking 30 years of failed political consensus. It's the conference speech that's been junked instead."

As a peer, Cameron will not even face grillings in the Commons as part of his new £104,360Streeting a-year job because he is not an MP. It means junior ministers will have to field questions for the Foreign Office while he is in the Upper Chamber.
