WARNING AFTER BRUSH WITH DEATH
A SUPERFIT dad was diagnosed with a brain tumour after ignoring crippling headaches for "months on end".
Ian McCart, 31, was throwing up, passing out and losing his vision but put it down to bad migraines.
When the railway worker's eyesight worsened in August 2021, his employer advised him to book an appointment to see if he needed glasses.
Opticians found an irregularity in his scans and he was rushed by ambulance to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. A CT scan of his skull there found a non-cancerous mass the size of a 50p piece.
Ian's partner, Amyleigh Cavanagh, 32, told how the dad of two - who enjoyed MMA fighting, boxing and trains at the gym four times a week refused to go to the doctor.
