A WOMAN blew £50,000 of her dementia-stricken dad's savings that were supposed to pay his care home fees.
Alison Carson told a social worker she'd spent all the money and had been buying scratch cards in a bid to "win it back".
A sheriff warned the 53-year-old she could be jailed and added it was "shocking" that she still insisted she did nothing wrong.
Carson, of Shotts, Lanarkshire, admitted embezzling the cash between 2016 and 2018.
