THE family of a pensioner killed in a horror car crash have pleaded for mercy for the young driver who caused her death.
Agnes 'Jo Clark, 71, died in the smash while on her way home from a hen party after teenage driver Bethany Fraser failed to give way at a rural junction.
Student Fraser, 19, who had only passed her test nine months before, crossed the junction at Baldoukie Motors near Tannadice, Angus, at around 40mph, resulting in her Vauxhall Corsa smashing into the oncoming Land Rover.
Four passengers, including her former partner's grandmother Jo, were hurt, along with three people in the Land Rover - a couple and their daughter.
Jo was in the back seat of Fraser's car, sustaining injuries which led to her death five days later, on August 25, 2023, at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
