RORY MCKENZIE loved his winter trip to Copenhagen despite being battered by sub-zero temperatures.
Now he hopes to help turn up the heat on the team named after the Danish capital as Kilmarnock strive to prolong their Conference League adventure.
Derek McInnes' charges face FC Copenhagen away in the first leg of their play-off tie on Thursday.
McKenzie is under no illusions how tough a task Killie face as the great Danes defeated Manchester United last season en route to the Champions League last 16.
But the Rugby Park midfielder said: "It would be incredible to get into the Conference League.
"It would show how far the club have come. Last year we were watching Copenhagen beat Man United in the Champions League, so we're getting ahead of ourselves.
"Copenhagen is a city I visited last year and absolutely loved. It was a city break but in the winter so minus 14. Hopefully it's a bit warmer this time!
