First Minister's 'climate credibility on knife edge'

Oxfam blasts Yousaf failure on fossil fuels and emission goals

HUMZA Yousaf's climate credibility is on a "knife edge" over his government's failure to oppose new oil and gas and meet emissions targets, Oxfam has warned.

It came as the First Minister used a speech in New York to issue a rallying call for rich countries to front up more cash to help nations worst-hit by climate change.

Speaking at New York Climate Week, Yousaf hailed the Scottish Government's Climate Justice Fund and announced a £1million funding pot for so-called "loss and damage".
