Footballer busted with £60,000 of cocaine and heroin

Striker claimed to police he only had 'the charlie for personal use'

A FOOTBALLER was snared with nearly £60,000 of cocaine and heroin stashed in his home after a police raid.

Craig Ferrier was caught with the haul of drugs hidden behind an access hatch in his bathroom.

The 22-year-old, who was signed with Edinburgh United, was also linked by cops to a second drug find.

His DNA was recovered from a bag containing heroin found inside a suspected stolen car.

Ferrier appeared from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Tuesday and admitted drug dealing charges.
