LIVINGSTON playmaker Andrew Shinnie is relishing going up against good pal Frankie Musonda in today's clash with Ayr.

They played alongside each other at Luton before making their respective ways to Scotland.

The Lions go into the last-16 clash at home as favourites against the Championship team and Shinnie hopes to win the bragging rights.

He said: "I have a good friend Frankie who is at Ayr and I used to play with Jamie Murphy.

"I was at Luton with Frankie when he was a young lad and he's done well since coming up to Scotland.

"I spoke to him about coming here and told him it could open a lot of doors for him if he did well.
