EDINBURGH Zoo has released a hilarious video on its social media channels in which its boss encourages people to visit in Gen Z slang.
The clip shows David Field, 57, describe the famous penguins as "brat" and the flamingos as "very mindful, very demure".
The tongue-in-cheek video, posted on the zoo's Instagram and TikTok, is captioned: "Letting the Gen Z comms team write the CEO's script."
David, a Boomer, takes viewers on a short tour of the zoo in the city's Corstophine and encourages followers to come along for a "lit" day out.
Dressed in a checked shirt and a gilet, he says: "Well listen up, chat, if you haven't hit up Edinburgh Zoo, you're heavy missing out. No cap."
As he walks up the hill at the entrance to the attraction, which is home to more than 2500 animals, he quips: "See the hill, it's giving mountain, it's giving Ben Nevis," referring to the steep incline visitors must climb to see the animals.
