SCOTLAND'S green energy industry needs a shot in the arm as ordinary workers lose out to rivals abroad, an MSP has claimed.
A union report found there are just two green jobs for every £1million raked in by renewables firms.
Scottish Labour's Katy Clark told MSPs "multinationals and even foreign governments are benefiting more from Scotland's green economy" than workers.
The STUC report blasted an "unforgivable" 4000 decrease in employment in low carbon and renewables sectors from 2021-22 while companies raked in £4billion in profits.
