THREE Tory MPs have told Liz Truss to quit over the economic chaos caused by her mini-budget.

Crispin Blunt was first to break ranks, saying it was “blindingly obvious” the Prime Minister had to go, as yet another tax cut looked set to be ditched to appease the markets.

Truss and her new Chancellor Jeremy Hunt held crisis talks yesterday as they tried to find a way to stem the economic turmoil sparked by the mini-budget.

Hunt, who on Friday replaced Kwasi Kwarteng, refused to rule out further U-turns and is expected to ditch a planned 1p income tax cut.
