A PASSENGER has described an "insane" 11-hour multitransport journey from London to Scotland which ended with a late-night 190-mile taxi ride.
Stand-up comedian James Nokise was among hundreds of passengers told to get off an Avanti West Coast service at Preston on Monday night due to a defect on the track.
The firm arranged for taxis to take travellers to final destinations in Scotland and James shared a black cab to Edinburgh with three other people.
