A LITTLE girl has told her heartbroken mum that she "no longer cares" about her future after school bullies made her life hell.
Traumatised Orla Cameron told of her fears about being attacked in the playground and why she never wants to return to school.
The eight-year-old is a primary five pupil at Campie Primary School in Musselburgh, East Lothian, and she has been plagued by bullying incidents.
These have ranged from name calling to exclusion from friend groups for about two years. But things escalated recently when she was assaulted by a group of four boys within the school premises.
When nothing was done to ensure her safety, she climbed the fence and ran home when the group headed towards her in the playground after making threats.
She has been at home since and is refusing to go back to school because she is terrified of being attacked again.
