LIAM Payne's grieving girlfriend Kate Cassidy has told of her devastation at his death as she paid tribute to the One Direction singer.
The 25-year-old spoke as more details of the star's final moments emerged before he plunged to his death from a hotel balcony after a suspected drink and drugs binge.
They include claims he was behaving erratically in the lobby, passed out, appeared desperate for attention and blamed being in a boy band for his "f***ed up" state.
American Kate, who left Liam in Argentina two days before he died, said she is at a "complete loss".
She added: "Nothing about the past few days have felt real.
"Liam, my angel, you are everything. I want you to know I loved you unconditionally and completely. I will continue to love you for the rest of my life. I love you, Liam." Kate also praised her followers on Instagram for their support. She added: "Thank you for all of the kind words and love that has been sent my way." Just hours before he died, Liam shared a picture of him and Kate taking a selfie in Argentina.
The 31-year-old died at the CasaSur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aries on Wednesday. Fellow guest Bret Watson claimed the star displayed increasingly disturbed behaviour on his final night.
The American, who had "multiple encounters" with Liam in the hotel lobby, said: "He had come down to the lobby, was causing a disturbance, kept being escorted back up to his room.
"There was an incident where he was very frustrated and was smashing his laptop in the lobby.
"And then the final time he came back down, he passed out in the lobby of the hotel, started, looked like [he was] convulsing a little bit and had to be physically taken to his room. "And that was about five minutes before the eventual incident that happened." in Bret shared a photo he had taken of Liam earlier in the day.
