LUKE MCCOWAN is already making a big noise at Celtic.
But, as he calmly chats with trophyladen team-mates and his mindset coach, he's not going to start shouting about it.
Instead, he wants impressive displays to act as his loudest voice.
McCowan has settled effortlessly since signing from Dundee and has been ticking off milestones since he walked into Parkhead.
After a debut against Rangers, it was a first club goal in only his second outing when netting against Hearts.
Then on the first start it was a second goal in the win at Motherwell.
McCowan has also tasted the Champions League during a whirlwind beginning to his Celtic career.
But although the 26-year-old midfielder is rising to every challenge, his speech is staying at the same level.
McCowan isn't short of confidence but, crucially, he also has deep respect for the serial winners in his dressing room. He freely admits "a few boys in Dundee" will tell you he is capable of loudly making his point.
But, as he makes his way at Parkhead, it's about taking a lead from those who have seen it and done it.
McCowan said: "I'm not going to go in there shouting and bawling, these guys are league winners.
"I need to learn off them first and then, through that, I'll find my voice and whatever.
"I need to rein myself in, I just need to bide my time with that.
