A DETECTIVE working on the Madeleine McCann case is to give evidence in the prime suspect's trial over unrelated sex crimes.
Det Con Mark Draycott has worked on Operation Grange, the £13million probe into the case, since it was launched by then Home Secretary Theresa May in 2011.
Judge Christina Engelmann confirmed yesterday that DC Draycott will give evidence in the trial of convicted German paedophile Christian Brueckner.
