THE anguished family of a mum killed in an attack by a powerful bulldog have paid tribute to the "muchloved mother, daughter and friend".

Michelle McLeod, 41, was set upon at a flat in Aberdeen on Saturday night.

The dog responsible, believed to have been an American bulldog, was later put down.

Police were called to the flat on Foresterhill Road at about 11pm on Saturday.

Michelle died at the scene.

Her family said yesterday: "We are devastated by the loss of Michelle.

"She was a much-loved mother, daughter and friend to many and will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
