EVERTON claimed injustice on and off the pitch at Goodison - as rising star Alejandro Garnacho cheekily declared himself the "goal of the season winner" in November.
The Argentine international, who is seen as the future of his club Manchester United and country, produced a stunning goal to give his side an early lead.
His acrobatic strike set United on their way to a 3-0 win, with Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial adding to the scoring.
But Toffees boss Sean Dyche was left fuming about a controversial VAR penalty call for Rashford's strike. Referee John Brooks didn't see a foul when Anthony Martial milked a contact with Ashley Young, and even booked the United striker for simulation.
But VAR Chris Kavanagh suggested he saw a "clear and obvious error" to overturn the onfield decision.
That incensed Dyche, who said: "It's bizarre. There's no point. I feel for fans. We all know what's going to happen.
