LAST SCOTS-BUILT HILLMAN GT ON DISPLAY 

A SCOTS-built car - one of the rarest in the UK - has gone on display at a museum after being restored to its former glory.

The 1969 Hillman GT, the only one left of its kind, has been lovingly restored over the past 12 months after it was bought at auction for £5300 last year.

The classic car was made in Renfrewshire and unveiled at the Paris Motor Show in 1969.

It has gone on display at the British Motor Museum until next autumn, after which it will go under the hammer.
