ST MIRREN v ARBROATH
STEPHEN ROBINSON football reckons the "pantomime" has turned him from St Mirren hero to Buddies baddie in the space of just 93 minutes.
But the Paisley boss insists there's no way he'll allow last week's defeat to Montrose to turn Saints' season into a farce.
Robinson was among the four nominees for the PFA and SFWA Manager of the Year awards in May after securing a first top-tier top-six finish in almost four decades for the club.
But the new campaign got off to a shocker last weekend with a 1-0 loss in Angus which leaves St Mirren playing catch-up in Group H ahead of this afternoon's clash at home to Arbroath.
Robinson said: "I heard other managers say at this time of year you end up signing players too quickly because you're getting judged instantly.
"I've gone from being a Manager of the Year nominee to being rubbish after 93 minutes! That's the pantomime of football. You have to treat it as that - pantomime.
