STEPHEN ROBINSON believes his long-time alliance with "irreplaceable" recruitment guru Martin Foyle is paying off big time in Paisley.

The English lower-league expert is Robinson's eyes and ears around the entire country.

Saints stunned Hibs 3-0 in their Premiership opener thanks to goals from new signings Roland Idowu and Oisin Smyth two classic examples of Foyle's work.

Idowu, Smith and a string of other stars spotted by Foyle are set to take on Brann in tomorrow's Europa Conference League first leg with a play-off round place at stake.

And the Buddies boss admits he couldn't have his side flying so high without 61-year-old Foyle's brilliance in the background.
