MO SALAH proved his value to Liverpool again but Liverpool's unbeaten record was tested to the limit as Newcastle snatched a point.

The Egyptian star, in the last year of his Anfield deal, grabbed his 14th and 15th goals of the season to set up Arne Slot's troops to see the game out.

But Fabian Schar rocket the table toppers with an 89th-minute equaliser to cap a thrilling end-to-end game, as Newcastle showed their fighting spirit.

Salah struck in the 68th minute to haul his faltering side level, then put them ahead in the 83rd minute.
