Highland town comes dead last in magazine poll of worst places to vacation while in UK

A HIGHLAND town has been named the worst destination in Scotland for a short break.

Fort William is among the worst places to head for a holiday in the whole of the UK, according to Which?.

The consumer magazine asked 3967 members to rate cities and towns across the UK they had visited for leisure, and stayed in for at least one night, during the past two years.
