Beloved actress channels her inner Jackie Reid on Glasgow's streets in music video for release of new song

SHE fought the bad guys the hard way for 30 years... now Taggart star Blythe Duff is back on Glasgow's streets, this time as a singing detective.

Blythe, who played DI Jackie Reid for 21 years, features in a new music video based on the role which made her name.

The 60-year-old, who most recently appeared in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child in London's west end, plays a cop investigating a murder in the backstreets of Glasgow.

Described as "an homage to Taggart, and a love letter to Glasgow", the video delves into the city's underworld.

We are reacquainted with Blythe as she crouches over a dead body in an alley, surrounded by rubberneckers and the dead boy's distraught mum.
