Goody delighted with Edwards’ attitude

JIM GOODWIN has praised Ryan Edwards for not throwing his toys out of the pram even though he has lost his Dundee United starting place.

The Tangerines are out of the drop zone on the back of three straight wins where the skipper has been on the bench, with Loick Ayina and Charlie Mulrgrew preferred.

But United manager Goodwin said: I've been in this situation in the past where you take a senior player out of the team, particularly one whos club captain, and the reaction can sometimes be very negative.
