A TOP snowsport centre has been saved from closure thanks to a public crowdfunder and other help.
The Lecht in Aberdeenshire warned in April a lack of snow had been a hallmark of a "dire season" and put its future in doubt.
It said it did not want "to be forced to shut down" and needed help to survive.
But the centre said yesterday that it would be able to continue thanks to donations after an appeal.
It said: "A heartfelt thank you to our amazing community for coming together with support, kind messages and donations during our funding appeal.
