Finance Secretary hits back at Sunak 'cheek' for destroying public services

SHONA Robison yesterday slated the PM for criticizing her income tax raise. 

The Finance Secretary said Rishi Sunak had “a bit of a cheek”.

Robison, who is also Deputy First Minister, accused Westminster of putting electioneering ahead of public services in there cent autumn statement.

She will today outline her government’s spending plans for 2024-2 in the draft Scottish budget.

Sunak, who visited Moray yesterday, said: “The UK Government has provided a record amount of funding to the Scottish Government through the Barnett formula, so they’re ultimately responsible for the finances here in Scotland.
