KRISTIJAN TRAPANOVSKI has revealed Aberdeen's Bojan Miovski helped persuade him to join Dundee United.
The former FK Shkupi winger is a Macedonian countryman of the prolific Dons striker, who Terrors boss Jim Goodwin brought to Pittodrie from MTK Budapest in 2022.
And it was Miovski's ringing endorsement that made Trapanovski pen a two-year deal at Tannadice.
The 24-year-old said: "I spoke with Bojan before making my decision. He told me great things about the coach and the league.
"Bojan is a good guy and helped me. He has proved that you can make an impact in Scotland and take big steps in your career. I hope I can follow in his footsteps." Trapanovski is also hoping to follow another path already trodden by his countryman and force his way into the North Macedonian squad.
