A GRIEVING dad says he has been "left in the dark" after his daughter died from a blood clot in hospital.
Nicole Black was being treated for a flare-up of chronic gastroparesis, a debilitating stomach condition, when she suddenly passed away at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley in June last year.
The 29-year-old had been admitted 33 times since 2021 and regularly received blood thinners because of the condition.
She had a central line fitted in her thigh to administer fluids which left her at higher risk of deep vein thrombosis.
