NINETIES icon Whigfield can't wait to play a free gig today for Glasgow's Pride - but hopes she can understand the locals better than a previous visit to the city.
The 54-year-old Dane told the Daily Record she had real trouble with the Scottish accent when she first came here but it didn't stop her falling in love with the country.
Whigfield said: "One of the first times I came here, the driver who picked us up at the airport had a really strong accent and was speaking non-stop all the way to the venue where we were going to soundcheck.
