Loveable rogue returns to EastEnders after 10yr absence

IT’S been a decade since we last saw him in Albert Square but Michael French will return as David Wicks later this year.

The last time EastEnders fans caught sight of the smooth ladies’ man in Walford was back in 2014 after his relationship with old flame Carol Jackson (Lindsay Coulson) broke down following their failed wedding attempt.

Now David is to help the soap celebrate its 40th anniversary with a “short stint” in the run-up to the milestone anniversary in February next year.
