PAUL NICHOLLS plans to take on all-time great Constitution Hill with Rubaud the star of his brilliant four-timer at Wincanton yesterday.

Ditcheat's 1-2 favourite galloped on relentlessly to win the JenningsBet Elite Hurdle with plenty to spare.

And it capped a great afternoon for Nicholls, who was also on target with Meatloaf (10-11f) and Knappers Hill (4-5f) ridden by Harry Cobden, plus Freddie Gingell's mount Huelgoat (4-1).

Rubaud's four-and-a-quarter length success puts him on course for a Boxing Day clash with Nicky Henderson's titan, unbeaten in a seven-race streak.
