JAMIE GEORGE has urged the Twickenham faithful to give Eddie Jones some respect when the pantomime villain former England boss returns to HQ today.
Jones, now in charge of Japan, is on his second trip to Twickenham since being sacked by the RFU in 2022. He led the Barbarians there last year but this is the first time he has faced England at the venue.
In his ill-fated spell with Australia at the last World Cup, Jones was booed every time he appeared on big screens around France.
But with England he won three Six Nations titles, including a Grand Slam, white-washed the Wallabies Down Under and got England to a World Cup final.
His win record of 72.8 per cent over 81 games trumps that of Sir Clive Woodward, who did land a global title, and puts those of Geoff Cooke and Jack Rowell in the shade.
