The hunk, 50, often employs the ancient technique to get a boost.
He said: "There is a big energy around Strictly and that is wonderful, but if you're not an extrovert it's quite draining.
"But meditation grounds me and keeps me in the present and moment stops me from getting away from myself.
"I do it almost every day and it helps me."
