Lewis can't wait to end his Mercedes torture

LEWIS HAMILTON'S Mercedes career looks set to end on a sour note as he admitted the end of the season "cannot come soon enough".

The triple-header of races across the Americas was brutal for everyone involved but few suffered as much as the seven-time champion.

Two early qualifying exits, in Austin and again in Brazil on Sunday, were compounded by an awful car which Hamilton clearly hated driving.

"The race was crap," he spat after limping to 10th at Interlagos. "Let's not talk about the car, because the car is no good.
