A BOFFIN reckons he has found evidence that we are all living in a Matrix-style simulated reality created by aliens.

Physics professor Melvin Vopson claims his research indicates we may be characters in a virtual world created by an advanced computer.

It echoes the story of The Matrix sci-fi films starring Keanu Reeves. The Romanian academic says the universe is made up of streams of information, patterns and symmetrical organisms like butterflies – which resemble computer code.
