JJ SLEVIN made a flying start to his new role after being unveiled as Daryl Jacob's successor in the 'double green' silks of owners Simon Munir and Isaac Souede.
Jacob, who had announced that this season would be his last in the saddle, brought forward his retirement after riding Impaire Et Passe to land the Grade One Faugheen Novice Chase at Limerick last Saturday, taking his final mount aboard Mr Percy at Leopardstown the following afternoon.
