BRITS face holiday hell with one million cancelled flights, five million axed rail trips and 16million cars jamming roads.
Experts have warned holidaymakers planning a quick getaway should expect chaos.
Around 150 Birmingham Airport workers downed tools today. Almost 1,000 Gatwick Airport check-in staff and baggage handlers will walk out between July 28 and August 8.
Separately Gatwick has also warned a host of flights will be cancelled due to clogged European airspace.
