MAURICIO POCHETTINO appears to be in no particular rush to get to Chelsea – and Frank Lampard thinks he knows why. 

Lampard is preparing for tonight’s London derby at Arsenal and still has to contend with Manchester City, Manchester United and Newcastle in their final three games before the curtain comes down on a disastrous season at Stamford Bridge.

Meanwhile, talks are progressing very steadily with former Spurs boss Pochettino (inset) about taking over at the end of the season.

“We are at that stage of the season now where we understand that we are not going to get into Europe,” said Lampard as he pondered why fans may need to be patient when it comes to waiting for his replacement to arrive.
