POLICE were today trying to establish the motive behind the triple killing in Nottingham as tributes continued to be paid to London student Grace O’Malley- Kumar and the two other victims.
Teammates from Nottingham University’s women’s hockey team were among those marking Grace’s death as they yesterday laid flowers in her memory at a vigil at the university held to mourn her, fellow student Barnaby Webber and school caretaker Ian Coates.
Grace’s GP father Sanjoy said his daughter, a former pupil of Bancroft’s school in Redbridge, had loved being in Nottingham and “fell together” with her friend Barnaby as he thanked the crowd of well-wishers for their support.
