Four people were involved in the protest, which caused a 45-minute delay to the match between Coco Gauff and Karolina Muchova.
The incident happened after the first game of the second set, with three protestors standing and repeatedly chanting, "End Fossil Fuels".
Two of them, along with a fourth protestor, were ejected after a few minutes, while police officers and medical staff worked to release the final member of the group from the court. All four were taken into police custody. Both players were removed from court during the disruption.
