The 16-year-old will tonight bid to become the youngest ever world championship winner when he takes on No1 Luke Humphries in the final at a sold-out Alexandra Palace.
More than two million viewers are set to watch the match, with Littler already guaranteed a £200,000 prize for making the final.
The youngster, nicknamed Luke the Nuke, beat Rob Cross, 33, by six sets to two in last night’s semi-final. If he wins the final he will collect £500,000. But the teenager, from Warrington, insisted he will not be changing his preparation despite his fairytale run to the final in his first world tournament.
“I’ll keep doing what I’ve been doing. In the morning I’ll go for my ham and cheese omelette, then later a pizza and then practise on the board,” he said.
