CRYSTAL PALACE are working on a deal worth in the region of £30million to sign Eddie Nketiah from Arsenal.
Palace have moved for the striker after his proposed switch to Nottingham Forest collapsed over the weekend.
Talks are at an advanced stage and Palace have agreed to pay £25m up front for the 25-year-old, with a potential £5m in add-ons.
Personal terms are not expected to be an issue, and Nketiah (right) is set to undergo a medical before securing his move before Friday’s transfer deadline.
Palace are set for a busy final few days of the transfer window. They are braced for a fresh bid from Newcastle for new captain Marc Guehi, with the Magpies increasingly confident of securing a deal for the £70m-rated England center-back Having sold Joachim Andersen to Fulham for £27m last week, Palace plan to sign two centre-backs if Guehi also departs.
