Beinash Batool, 29, appeared in a video alongside Sara's father Urfan Sharif and denied that the family had "gone into hiding".
Surrey Police want to speak to Ms Batool, Mr Sharif, 41, and his brother Faisal Shahzad Malik, 28, who are all believed to have travelled from the UK to Pakistan the day before the girl's body was found at her home in Surrey on August 10.
The family left Britain with five children aged between one and 13.
In the footage Mr Sharif and Ms Batool sat side-by-side as she read a prepared statement from a notebook and refuted media reports that Mr Sharif's brother Imran said Sara fell down the stairs.
